The Growth Marketing team builds demand for Patreon and turns audience interest into durable relationships between fans and creators. Our remit spans Paid Media, Marketing Partnerships, SEO, and Lifecycle, with close partnership across Product, Product Marketing, Data, Engineering, Brand, Creative, Policy, Trust & Safety, and other teams.
Lifecycle is a critical growth capability at Patreon. Today, the opportunity extends well beyond individual email campaigns: we need a connected strategy for how Patreon engages both fans and creators across their journeys, a strong operating model for the channel, and the data and marketing technology foundation to deliver relevant experiences at scale. The immediate priority is building a more intentional fan lifecycle program while continuing to support and strengthen creator communications.
We’re looking for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to serve as the strategic and operational owner of Patreon’s lifecycle program across both fan and creator audiences. The initial priority will be defining and building the fan lifecycle, while also owning the strategy, governance, and execution of creator lifecycle communications. This is a high-impact senior individual contributor role for someone who can set the vision, build the systems, align collaborators, and remain close enough to execution to ensure the work ships with quality.
You’ll define how Patreon engages fans from their first interaction through activation, engagement, conversion, retention, and re-engagement—helping fans discover more of what they love and deepen their relationships with creators. You’ll also shape how Patreon communicates with creators across onboarding, activation, growth, engagement, retention, product adoption, and critical operational moments, partnering with our Creator Success teams along the way.
This role also owns the operating and technical foundation that makes lifecycle effective: audience strategy, journey architecture, measurement, experimentation, channel governance, deliverability, localization, data quality, and the marketing technology roadmap. You’ll be the senior lifecycle expert for the company and a trusted partner to leaders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Data.
This is not an advisory-only role. You’ll translate strategy into an executable roadmap, directly build and launch priority programs, establish repeatable processes, and create the foundation for a team as the function scales.
