We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson to join our Services Maintenance team at New Zealand Aluminium Smelter.

The Services Maintenance team is responsible for maintaining the reliability of equipment used for conveying and storing raw materials across the site. In addition, the team maintains the dry scrubbing plant and site utilities, including water supply systems.
Based at Tiwai, Invercargill, and reporting to the Superintendent or Supervisor, this role offers an experienced Tradesperson the opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing team. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics across a diverse range of equipment.
We are seeking someone who demonstrates a high degree of flexibility, strong problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to maintenance. You will be required to identify and carry out both planned and unplanned repair and diagnostic work while meeting production and operational time constraints across a wide variety of plant and equipment.
