About the role

Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer at NCR VOYIX, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions that drive our innovative products and services. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable software applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to define requirements and deliver solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.

• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.

• Implement best practices in software development, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending their adoption where appropriate.

• Document technical designs, specifications, and procedures clearly and concisely.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 0-2 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go.

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
