About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity is available for a Coordinator, Enrolment and Student Progress to join the Student Administration Services (SAS) team based in Flinders Medical Centre at Bedford Park. Working at the College level, you will play a key role in coordinating high-quality enrolment and student progress services, supporting students and staff across a broad range of student administration activities. As a trusted subject matter expert, you will provide specialist advice, manage complex cases, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the student experience and support student success.
Working closely with the College Manager, Student Administration Services and the Coordinator, Enrolment and Student Progress (Doctor of Medicine), you will contribute to strategic initiatives, support continuous improvement activities, and help review processes and systems to ensure the delivery of effective, student-centred services across the University.
As the Coordinator, Enrolment and Student Progress, you will be responsible for:

Providing expert advice on enrolment, course planning and student progress matters to staff, students and key stakeholders.
•
Coordinating the delivery of timely, consistent and high-quality enrolment and student progress services, including resolving complex enquiries and cases.
•
Supporting university-wide enrolment activities and student success initiatives that enhance the student experience and retention outcomes.
•
Driving continuous improvement through the review of processes, systems and service delivery practices.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Experience managing support services within a large, complex and dynamic organisation, including interpreting, applying and providing advice and recommendations on higher education policies and procedures to senior stakeholders.
•
Proven ability to exercise initiative and judgement, communicate decisions effectively, and manage competing priorities to meet critical deadlines.
•
High-level organisational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports, submissions and recommendations for a range of audiences.
•
The ability to provide leadership and contribute to a positive team culture that supports customer service excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About the Student Administration Services
Student Administration Services operates under a university wide matrix services model. SAS teams are integrated within each of the five colleges, along with the front-end student service hub (Flinders Connect) and university-wide administration services to provide support across the student lifecycle, from admissions through to graduations.
The suite of services that the SAS unit delivers are crucial to the student experience. These services act as the scaffold around the learning experience. In a world of increasing choices and options for students, service excellence is non-negotiable. In SAS, we understand that improving the student experience requires a holistic, one team approach.
The SAS team also likes to have fun and we celebrate our successes. Although spread across colleges and campuses, we take time to come together and build relationships across teams.
