Leading an active lifestyle is important to the many people we serve. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) division, we’re advancing the treatment of heart rhythm disorders through breakthrough technologies that enable physicians to deliver safer, more effective therapies and improve patient outcomes.
The Director, Advanced Imaging and Clinical Intelligence will lead Abbott EP’s imaging innovation efforts from our Haifa, Israel location, serving as a strategic technology leader responsible for defining and advancing the future of image-guided electrophysiology ablation and structural heart procedures. This role will establish the long-term technology vision for Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE) and related imaging modalities, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and CT, while driving the execution of Abbott’s AI-enabled imaging strategy.
Working extensively with physicians, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and industry partners, this leader will identify unmet clinical needs, create breakthrough imaging concepts, and develop novel technologies that automate clinical workflows, unlock new procedural insights, and enable the next generation of intelligent EP procedures.
The Director will lead a multidisciplinary research and innovation team focused on exploratory technologies spanning advanced ultrasound imaging, computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, image-guided therapy, anatomical modeling, workflow automation, and procedural intelligence. This role will be accountable for advancing technologies from concept through technology maturation and successful transfer into product development programs.
This highly visible leadership position will help establish Abbott as the industry leader in imaging-driven clinical intelligence for electrophysiology procedures while building a robust intellectual property portfolio and fostering a world-class imaging innovation ecosystem.
