About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients, a digital marketing agency serving U.S.-based businesses, is hiring an experienced Account Executive to manage the sales process from the first conversation through closing.
This is a consultative sales role, not a scripted sales position. You’ll engage inbound leads, conduct discovery calls, uncover business challenges, recommend relevant digital marketing solutions, handle objections, negotiate, and take ownership of qualified opportunities through close.
You’ll also manage your pipeline in GoHighLevel (GHL), ensuring every qualified opportunity receives consistent follow-up and moves toward a clear outcome.
What You’ll Own
Inbound Sales & Qualification
•
Respond promptly to inbound leads across phone, email, and other channels
•
Qualify prospects based on their business needs, pain points, and overall fit
•
Conduct structured discovery and sales calls
•
Ask effective questions to understand business challenges and growth priorities
•
Identify the prospect’s underlying marketing needs before recommending solutions
•
Present appropriate digital marketing services based on prospect requirements
•
Maintain a professional experience from initial contact through close
Consultative Selling & Closing
•
Lead consultative sales conversations rather than relying on rigid scripts
•
Recommend relevant solutions based on each prospect’s needs
•
Clearly communicate the value of services including:
•
SEO
•
Paid advertising
•
Web development
•
Related digital marketing services
•
Handle objections confidently and professionally
•
Negotiate with qualified prospects
•
Maintain momentum throughout the sales process
•
Take ownership of opportunities through final close
Pipeline Management
•
Own opportunities from initial contact through close

Maintain consistent follow-up to keep prospects engaged
•
Identify stalled opportunities and determine appropriate next steps
•
Re-engage prospects when appropriate
•
Prioritize leads based on urgency, fit, and likelihood to close
•
Maintain visibility into upcoming follow-ups
•
Ensure qualified opportunities do not fall through the cracks
•
Consistently move opportunities toward a clear outcome

Manage the sales pipeline directly in GoHighLevel (GHL)

Maintain accurate:

Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting

Communicate confidently with U.S.-based business owners and decision-makers

Clearly explain digital marketing services in business-focused language

Understand prospect concerns and connect them with relevant solutions

Build trust and credibility throughout the sales process

Maintain professional communication across calls, email, and follow-ups
Requirements
•
3+ years of experience in inbound sales, business development, or a similar closing role
•
Proven experience conducting consultative sales conversations and closing deals
•
Demonstrated experience handling objections and negotiations
•
Hands-on GoHighLevel (GHL) experience – required
•
Strong discovery and lead qualification skills
•
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
•
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
•
Ability to independently manage a sales pipeline
•
Comfortable communicating with business owners and decision-makers
•
Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment
•
Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours

What a Typical Day Looks Like
You’ll start by reviewing new inbound leads and pipeline priorities in GoHighLevel, responding to new prospects, and preparing for scheduled discovery calls.
Throughout the day, you’ll qualify prospects, uncover their business and marketing challenges, recommend relevant solutions, and guide qualified opportunities through the sales process.
You’ll also follow up with active and stalled prospects, handle objections, negotiate when appropriate, and keep GHL updated with accurate activity, pipeline stages, and next steps.
In short: you turn inbound interest into qualified opportunities and guide prospects through a consultative sales process from discovery to close.
