Sales Executive – HVAC/ AVAC

We are currently seeking a Sales Executive – HVAC to join our team in Portugal. The main purpose of this role is to promote and sell Johnson Controls products and services to end customers and service providers, while building and maintaining long-term customer relationships in line with established corporate processes.
What will your responsibilities be?
•
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and strengthen Johnson Controls’ value proposition in the market.

Identify growth opportunities and increase market share.
•
Prospect, qualify, and close complex, high-value sales opportunities aimed at driving business growth.
•
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
•
Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
•
Stay up to date with industry and market trends to maintain competitiveness.
•
Understand, apply, and leverage competitive strategies, products, and services to effectively differentiate Johnson Controls technologies.
•
Manage and develop the assigned business area while providing regional market leadership.
What profile are we looking for?
•
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar sales role within the industrial maintenance, building services, or HVAC sectors.
•
Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
•
Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions and markets.
•
Proficiency in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
•
Good command of English.
•
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive, methodical, and well-organized professional with strong customer management, communication, and negotiation skills. You should be able to create value, maintain, and develop relationships that require a high level of diligence and professionalism.
