Seekless is built and run by me, Derek Honerlaw. I’ve worked as a software engineer my whole career, and the part I enjoy most is helping, supporting and growing people.
I couldn’t trust job boards. Most of them seemed built to advertise me to certain companies, not to help me find the right job. The details I cared about, like company size and location, were hard to find, and every search turned into an uphill battle: find a job, Google the company, try to work out whether it was a fit, repeat.
Finding the job was only half of it. Tailoring my résumé to what each job actually asked for was a huge pain.
I wanted one place where I could describe the job I wanted in a sentence (role, location, salary, whatever matters) and get relevant results straight from the companies hiring, with nothing shaped by paid ads. Then help making my résumé fit each one. That’s Seekless.
