Internship Program Overview:
About the role
Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.
Summary of Role:
The HR team at GF is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented student to support HR Analytics and the Global Compensation team. The intern will work cross-functionally with HR Centers of Excellence to enhance existing processes and help develop global Total Rewards programs.
Essential Responsibilities include:
•
Collaborate with HR team members and business stakeholders to complete an assigned project with global business impact, and share detailed reporting, insights, and feedback with the GF HR leadership team.
•
Analyze compensation and benefits datasets and provide HR analytics that help the organization use employee data to support positive employee outcomes.
•
Assist with salary and competitive compensation benchmarking, analysis, and other Total Rewards processes as needed.
•
Support Total Rewards activities such as open enrollment and employee communications, and participate in intern professional development and networking opportunities.
Other Responsibilities:
•
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
•
Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, International Business or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
