Let’s talk about the team
The MLR Content Library Specialist sits within the Marketing Operations / MarTech function and plays a critical role in enabling compliant, scalable content operations. This team is driving the transformation of content review and approval processes through platforms such as Aprimo, integrated with DAM, CRM, and project management tools. The team’s mission is to improve speed-to-market while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and content quality. The role works closely with Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR), Brand, Creative, Digital, MarTech, and IT teams across global and regional markets.
Let’s talk about the role
The MLR Content Library Specialist is the custodian of the claims, content, and metadata ecosystem within the MLR platform (e.g., Aprimo). This role is responsible for ensuring that promotional content is governed, reusable, searchable, and compliant by design through the use of structured claims, validated references, and standardized taxonomies. This is a hybrid role combining content governance, data stewardship, and platform operations.
Key Responsibilities
Claims & Content Library Management
•
Own and manage the centralized claims and messaging library, ensuring all claims are validated, tagged, and traceable to approved references.
•
Maintain one-to-many relationships between claims and variations to ensure consistency across assets.
•
Enable reuse of pre-approved claims to reduce unnecessary re-review cycles.
Metadata & Taxonomy Governance
•
Define and maintain metadata frameworks, including region, product, content type, and approval status.
•
Ensure assets and claims are properly tagged to support searchability, filtering, and workflow automation.
•
Standardize taxonomy across global and regional teams.
References & Compliance Management
•
Manage citation libraries and reference linking to ensure every claim is supported by approved, traceable sources.
•
Maintain version control and auditability of references and claims.
•
Support regional validation and compliance requirements.
Content Lifecycle & Governance
•
Maintain the central repository of approved content as the single source of truth.
•
Manage content expiration, archiving, and re-approval triggers.
•
Ensure proper versioning, change tracking, and audit trails.
Workflow & Platform Enablement
•
Partner with MLR teams to ensure workflows are configured with appropriate claims, metadata, and approval logic.
•
Support submission quality control before content enters review.
•
Drive adoption of best practices for content reuse and structured submissions.
Integration & Cross-System Alignment
•
Collaborate with MarTech and IT teams to align MLR platforms with DAM (Aprimo), project management tools such as Asana, CRM platforms, and downstream activation systems.
•
Ensure data consistency and synchronization across systems
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
•
Track metrics including claims reuse rate, content approval cycle time, and compliance issues related to claims and references.
•
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce redundancy, and strengthen governance practices.
Let’s talk about you
You are detail-oriented and thrive at the intersection of content, compliance, and systems. You understand that well-structured data and governed content are key to scaling marketing operations in regulated environments. You are comfortable collaborating with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Marketing stakeholders while also working with platform configuration, metadata models, and process optimization. You bring a proactive mindset focused on improving workflows and reducing friction in content creation and review.
