About the role
Dental Assistant III – Sea Mar Community Health Centers
Sea Mar is seeking a Dental Assistant III to support dental providers and assist with clinic coordination, staff training, patient flow, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance. This role includes leadership responsibilities and ensures exceptional patient experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
· Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across a full range of dental procedures
· Lead and support back-office staff training, scheduling, and workflow
· Oversee patient flow, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure excellent customer service
· Maintain sterilization, OSHA compliance, and equipment maintenance
· Manage supply inventory, ordering, and emergency kit logs
· Support insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and patient treatment planning
· Assist supervisors with policy implementation, performance monitoring, and quality improvement
