· Cost Monitoring & Analysis:
· Track and analyze back-end manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, equipment usage, and overhead at both internal and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test facilities.
· Identify cost variances and provide root cause analysis with actionable insights.
· Budgeting & Forecasting:
· Support the preparation of forecasts / budgets and longer-term strategic financial plans for the semiconductor back-end operations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals.
· Develop and maintain cost dashboards and performance indicators.
· Provide regular reports to management on cost trends, efficiency metrics, and cost-saving opportunities.
· Partner with engineering and production teams to identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
· Evaluate the financial impact of process changes, yield improvements, and capacity expansions.
· Inventory & Asset Control:
· Monitor inventory levels and valuation for raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods.
· Ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation of back-end equipment.
· Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
· Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting and manufacturing operations.
