About the role
Reporting to the Chief Technology & AI Officer, the Head of Product Engineering is a senior technology leader responsible for building and scaling Amplify Health’s product engineering capabilities across its SaaS, PaaS, and DaaS platforms. This role combines deep technical leadership with product-centric thinking to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable healthtech solutions.
You will own the end-to-end engineering strategy and execution for key products, partnering closely with Product, Data & Analytics, and Business leaders to define and deliver the technology roadmap.
As a hands-on leader, you will establish best-in-class engineering practices, build high-performing distributed teams, and ensure our platforms are architected for long-term scalability, quality, and innovation.
Act as a key partner to senior leadership in shaping technology strategy and investment priorities.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, Commercial, and Operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
•
Serve as a bridge between product vision and engineering execution.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Qualifications
•
12–15+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant leadership experience in scaling product engineering organisations.
•
Proven track record of delivering complex SaaS platforms, ideally within healthtech, insurtech, fintech, or data-driven industries.
•
Demonstrated success in building and leading distributed engineering teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
•
Strong experience in modern architecture patterns (cloud-native, microservices, APIs, data platforms).
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
