Responsibilities
•
Lead divisional academic strategy aligned with global best practice and school priorities
•
Chair key academic committees to drive innovation, standards, and continuous improvement
•
Oversee curriculum design, interdisciplinary initiatives, assessment frameworks, and resource planning
•
Establish teaching quality assurance systems through regular observation, coaching, and data analysis
•
Lead faculty recruitment, evaluation, development pathways, and succession planning for subject leaders
•
Promote action research, conferences, inter school exchanges, and teacher publication opportunities
•
Build systems to monitor student progress, analyze outcomes, and design targeted learning support plans
•
Manage academic budgets and learning resources, coordinating with facilities as needed
•
Engage parents and community partners through academic briefings and external networks
•
Collaborate with pastoral, student services, and IT on whole person development and digital transformation
•
Teach 4 to 8 periods per week and deliver model lessons when required
