Job Description Summary
As a Fielded Engine Performance intern, you will be supporting the development and sustaining a wide range of physics based computational models with customers across all GE Engine lines for fielded commercial engines. You will be part of a group of engineers with a wide variety of technical expertise in modeling. In this position you will be required to analyze and interpret large data sets to provide recommendations and update models to other teams such as Prognostics and Health Management both on wing and on ground, Engine Control Systems, Engine Performance, Engineering Services and so on. You will participate in technical presentations and reviews with global teams.

Data quality assessment and statistical analysis

Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy
•
Participate in root cause analysis on field events
•
Present and substantiate results to senior leadership and direct manager
•
Show proactivity and autonomy in learning new processes and programming technique
Required qualifications
•
