Position Summary
The Cook / Barista is responsible for preparing quality food and beverages while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. This role supports daily café operations through food preparation, beverage production, register handling, inventory support, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, beverages, and customer service and is committed to creating a positive experience for every guest. Hours are typically 8am to 430pm Monday to Friday or 630am to 3pm
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Preparation
•
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
•
Prepare and serve food items, snacks, and grab-and-go offerings.
•
Ensure food and beverage presentation meets café standards and meets customer expectations.
•
Maintain beverage equipment and ensure workstations remain clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
•
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Customer Service
•
Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
•

Answer questions regarding menu items and make product recommendations.
•
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Cashiering & Café Operations
•
Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process transactions.
•
Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment setup and cleaning.

Stock products, supplies, and merchandise displays.
•
Assist with catering orders, meetings, and special events.
•
Support additional café projects and operational initiatives as needed.

Your Experience
