Job Description
Overview
AtkinsRéalis is looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This position requires experienced individuals who are self-starter capable of working independently and leading/supervising junior engineers. The individuals will work in a fast-paced team environment performing engineering services for Nuclear Power Plants within a matrix organization.
Your role
•
Prepare and review design basis documents for both nuclear and conventional systems of the nuclear power station e.g. design specification, over-pressure protection reports and design reports, Drawings, BOMs, SCL, etc.
•
Oversee the preparation of Mechanical and Piping Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs) Design Packages from Conceptual Design to Available For Service (AFS) and Close Out.
•
Train, mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
•
Support Engineering Management with timely updates on engineering progress, performance and staffing needs.
•
Directly interface with Customer’s engineering representatives.
•
Ensure that applicable standards and regulatory requirements and met.
About you
