About the role
Kody, a fast-growing Fintech specialising in bringing online payments and better financial services to brick and mortar businesses, is on the lookout for an Android Engineer with strong expertise in Kotlin to join our innovative mobile development team.
This role offers the opportunity to develop and maintain Kody’s Android mobile applications that make a difference in the financial landscape. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contributing to the design and implementation of new features while ensuring that the applications perform optimally and meet high-quality standards.
We are looking for a motivated candidate who has significant experience in Android development using Kotlin and a solid understanding of the Android ecosystem. Your passion for building user-friendly and secure applications will be key as you take on challenges within the mobile domain.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
•
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create new features.
•
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
•
Write clear, maintainable code with adherence to best practices.
•
Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
•
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in Android development.
•
Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
