Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Nashik/Pune, India

The job
As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be part of a growing data engineering team building scalable and secure data platforms for SaaS, multi-tenant applications. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop data pipelines, perform transformations, and support event-driven data workflows while continuously learning modern Azure data technologies. Our engineering workflow is AI-augmented — you will work alongside Agentic AI tools as part of daily development, so comfort with AI-assisted engineering is a core part of this role.
Key responsibilities
•
Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Spark notebooks
•
Perform data ingestion, transformation, and incremental loading from multiple sources
•
Support background processing and automation using Azure Functions
•
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to model and manage data
•
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
•
Use AI coding assistants and Agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate development, testing, and documentation, while critically reviewing and validating AI-generated output
Essential requirements
