Join the Translational Systems Toxicology team as a summer intern and drive the development and maintenance of automated update workflows for our genomics-pharmacology database, a critical resource for advancing our pipeline. Transform genomic and pharmacologicaldata sources into structured, analysis-ready datasets, and build reliable, reproducible pipelines that keep the database current. Partner with scientists and engineers across functions to accelerate decisions in preclinical safety assessment.

Responsibility
• Development and maintenance of automated database update workflows (scheduling, monitoring, alerts) to ensure timely, reproducible refreshes for our existing database.
• Support and improve existing database integration pipelines to ingest and harmonize preclinical and clinical datasets (genomics, pharmacology, toxicology, chemistry/assay results, etc.), including data cleaning, harmonization, verification, and annotation.
• Build and maintain reproducible analysis scripts and dashboards to support exploratory analysis and reporting.
• Document data models, pipelines, SOPs, and work instructions to enable hand-off and reuse.
• Collaborate closely with safety scientists, bioinformaticians, and data engineers to refine requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Follow data security, privacy, and compliance practices for handling sensitive research data.
Qualifications

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$23.50/hr to $52.50/hr

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $23.50 per hour and $52.50 per hour but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
