Executive Coordinator, Office of the Senior Vice President for Strategic Engagement – Georgetown University.
The Office of the Senior Vice President for Strategic Engagement (SVP) is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and collaborative Executive Coordinator to assist with a wide range of administrative tasks and projects covering a variety of functional areas. The Office of the Senior Vice President’s portfolio includes oversight of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, Office of Public Affairs, Office of Government Affairs and Community Engagement, Office of Global Engagement, Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life, and the Center for the Study of Slavery and Its Legacies. This role serves as a key administrative and operational position for the SVP, ensuring seamless execution of day-to-day operations including scheduling and calendar management, meeting facilitation, priorities management, and high-level internal and external stakeholder engagement. In addition, the Executive Coordinator will engage in research, writing, and independent project management as needed.
As a dynamic and cross-functional team member, the Executive Coordinator works to anticipate needs, process sensitive information with strict confidentiality, and ensure smooth workflow in the office of the SVP. Additionally, this role supports regular annual meetings and events and well as special projects as assigned.
The successful candidate is independent, self-motivated, agile, and possesses superior judgement and discretion. The Executive Coordinator must have a dedication to creative thinking and independent problem solving, and must be willing to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
