About the role
IV.AI is looking for a skilled ETL Engineer to join our data team, reporting to the VP of Engineering. You’ll own the pipelines that move and transform data across our platform - connecting client data sources, keeping our warehouses clean, and enabling the analytics and AI workflows our products depend on. We’re a distributed team that works collaboratively across time zones - not quite remote-first, but pretty close.
What You’ll Do
•
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and third-party SaaS integrations
•
Design and lead data extraction and transformation strategy from Snowflake environments, exercising independent technical judgment to establish schema standards, transformation logic, and data quality criteria supporting downstream analysis and product use cases
•
Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define data contracts and schema standards
•
Design and implement the alerting and observability strategy for data pipelines on GCP - defining SLOs, alert thresholds, and dashboards, and setting up the monitoring stack to support them
•
Own data quality - write validation logic, catch issues, problem solve and design solutions before they reach production
•
Be involved in the full software lifecycle from design through deployment
