About the Role
Rho is seeking a Weekend Onboarding Compliance Contractor to support our compliance team on weekends. You’ll assist with onboarding reviews, help with compliance documentation, and support our existing protocols—playing a vital part in keeping Rho compliant with U.S. banking regulations and internal policies, and maintaining the application review velocity. This part-time, contract role is perfect for those looking to expand their experience in banking or fintech compliance within a growing, mission-driven company.
What you’ll do

Assist with reviewing client onboarding applications and related due diligence tasks.

Document reviews using internal systems and escalate to a full-time onboarding officer for final review - eventually building to reviewing and decisioning items yourself.

Send requests and verify required documentation and escalate potential issues to the senior compliance team
•
Maintain accurate records and update case statuses in our compliance systems
•
Support team members with process documentation and workflow tracking
•
Communicate any urgent issues to supervisors/Full-time Onboarding Officers for prompt resolution.
Who you are
•
In progress or completed associate/bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
•
At least 6 months’ experience in compliance, finance, banking, or a customer service role
•
Basic understanding of BSA/AML or related banking/fintech regulations
•
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
•
Ability to work independently on weekends and meet required service levels
•
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Compensation & Hours
•
Hourly contract position, weekend + Monday shifts (Saturday-Sunday hours may vary based on workload)
