The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Education and experience. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience are required. You bring hands-on experience developing spatial computing and extended reality applications, including virtual and augmented reality experiences.
Immersive and interactive development. You are proficient with one or more leading development platforms, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, NVIDIA Omniverse, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Apple Xcode, or Reality Composer. You are comfortable working across programming languages, graphics and application frameworks, and operating environments, and you have experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve development workflows.
Software and cloud engineering. You have experience designing application programming interfaces and building distributed or service-based systems. You understand relational and non-relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, and have deployed applications in AWS or other cloud environments.
Prototyping and live experience support. You enjoy exploring emerging technologies, prototyping hardware integrations, and experimenting with new interaction models. You can support interactive applications and media platforms in fast-moving, live environments, including technologies such as show-control systems, TouchDesigner, and Q-SYS. You troubleshoot calmly, make sound decisions under pressure, and help keep experiences running reliably.
Collaboration. You communicate clearly and work effectively with both technical and non-technical partners. You are comfortable collaborating with creative teams, translating ideas into practical solutions, and adapting as design needs evolve.
Hardware and compute foundations. You have a practical understanding of CPU and GPU roles, NVIDIA GPU generations, Apple silicon and Metal, memory and storage considerations, and their impact on real-time graphics, spatial computing, simulation, and AI workloads. Hands-on experience with device setup, peripheral integration, wiring, sensors, cameras, displays, or similar hardware is a plus.
