The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s procurement function during construction and operational phases by developing and implementing procurement strategies that ensure the timely, cost-effective, and sustainable acquisition of goods, materials, equipment, and services.
The role is accountable for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, procurement governance, cost optimization, and continuous process improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, during the construction phase, the role also ensures the timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services as well as planning and evaluation of vendors proposals.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, Project managers, Design, Engineering and Construction teams the Procurement Manager supports construction phase, business operations and projects by delivering efficient procurement solutions that balance quality, cost, risk, and operational requirements.
