THE JOB:
As a Sushi Cook, at Bellagio’s Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge you’ll transform fresh ingredients into stunning sushi and authentic Japanese dishes that tantalize the senses! With your welcoming smile and passionate service, you’ll create an immersive dining experience that captivates our guests and invites them to savor every moment.
Benefits
THE STARTING RATE: 27.0038 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
•
Apply advance knife skills required for making sushi and other Japanese dishes
•
Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail of plate presentation
•
Ensure food quality is superior and correct any irregularities
•
Conduct inventory on a regular basis of specified food items and proper par levels
•
Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning as well as cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas
•
Follow recipes according to Chef specifications
•
Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of challenges that arise and how they have been corrected
•
Assist with pantry and preparation areas
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
•
18 years of age or older
•
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
•
1+ Years of prior relevant sushi experience
