· Define the transaction-level business process and systems strategy across acquisitions, carve-outs, separations, and divestitures, including the end-to-end value streams Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Plan to Make/Deliver, Design to Release, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, and connected platforms.
· Translate diligence findings, deal objectives, business capabilities, and value drivers into integration recommendations, roadmaps, dependencies, risks, costs, and decision requirements.
· Map end-to-end business processes and value streams, applications, data, integrations, controls, and organizational handoffs across Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Plan to Make/Deliver, Design to Release, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Commercial, R&D, Product Development, and adjacent domains.
· Drive timely decisions on process standardization, local exceptions, capability preservation, application retention or retirement, platform adoption or coexistence, migration and transition approach, sequencing, and business readiness.
· Define target-state and interim-state business systems approaches that balance speed, cost, risk, compliance, business continuity, scalability, and enterprise standards.
· Facilitate decision alignment across IT Value Streams, Enterprise Architecture, process owners, business leaders, acquired-company teams, Integration Leads, and external system integrators; frame conflicts, recommend options, and escalate decisions when required.
· Identify differentiating capabilities acquired through transactions that should be preserved, scaled, or incorporated into Medtronic enterprise roadmaps.
· Facilitate integration decision-making with Integration Leads, business partners, IT Value Streams, and the IT M&A lead; surface critical decisions, dependencies, risks, and outcomes without assuming detailed delivery or deployment ownership.
· Build reusable business systems integration patterns across applications, data, integrations, and process domains, along with playbooks, decision frameworks, estimation models, system-mapping templates, and lessons learned that improve speed, predictability, and quality across transactions.
