About the role
Meta is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to drive supply chain execution of hardware that supports the development and manufacturing of Meta’s data center infrastructure. In this role, you will lead cross-functional efforts to define and manage supplier ecosystems, and ensure that component quality, cost, and supply continuity requirements are met across complex, high-volume production programs.
Responsibilities
•
Define and execute commodity strategies for technically complex components such as server racks, semiconductors, electromechanical assemblies, optical systems, or custom silicon used in Meta’s hardware product lines
•
Lead supplier engagement, demand versus supply assessments, manufacturing capability audits, and risk evaluations across global supply chains
•
Partner with hardware engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to influence component architecture decisions and design-for-manufacturability trade-offs during early product development stages to ensure mass production schedules are maintained
•
Establish and lead supplier performance management frameworks, including scorecards, business reviews, and corrective action plans tied to quality, delivery, and responsiveness metrics
•
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks arising from geopolitical factors, single-source dependencies, commodity market volatility, or supplier financial instability
•
Drive multi-source supply strategies and qualification of alternate suppliers to improve supply chain resilience across critical component categories
•
Collaborate with planning, logistics, and operations teams to align supplier capacity and lead time commitments with product ramp schedules and demand forecasts
•
Provide technical and strategic guidance to peers and cross-functional partners, shaping commodity roadmaps and influencing organizational sourcing practices at scale
