Own what to build and why for your product area(s).
•
Write PRDs: problem statement, goals and metrics, scope (in/out), functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, open questions.
•
Own the product roadmap, backlog, and KPIs end-to-end. Prioritize and sequence with reasoning documented; make scope tradeoffs in writing.
•
Drive PRD sign-off with the right stakeholders (retail/catalog, warehouse operations, instock, category management, S&OP, inbound planning) on business use cases, scope, and exit criteria. Align parity/disparity decisions with your counterpart PMs.
•
Conduct UAT against the acceptance criteria you wrote, a functional check that the feature meets requirements.
Work directly with business and operations stakeholders.
Instock managers, S&OP, IPC/CT, category managers, buyers, and FC operations are your primary customers. You’ll spend real time with them, sitting with instock manages, buyers, and planners, walking FC floors, understanding what actually breaks. Translate operational pain into product bets. Serve as the strategic bridge between local operations, business teams, and global tech.
