About the role
We are looking for a Senior Kubernetes Technical Support Engineer to join a highly technical team supporting an enterprise AI vision platform running on Kubernetes and used for video analytics.
This is a hands-on Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support role focused on investigating and resolving complex issues across Kubernetes deployments, software, infrastructure, networking, hardware, and configuration.
You will work directly with enterprise customers during troubleshooting sessions, reproduce customer environments, investigate complex incidents, and collaborate closely with Engineering to identify root causes and drive product issues to resolution.
This position is ideal for an engineer who combines strong production Kubernetes ON PREMISE knowledge with excellent troubleshooting, customer-facing communication, and the ability to independently investigate complex technical problems.
Requirements
Responsibilities
•
Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support to enterprise customers.
•
Troubleshoot on-premises Kubernetes deployments, including software, infrastructure, hardware, networking, storage, and configuration issues.
•
Diagnose issues across Kubernetes clusters, containers, nodes, networking, and underlying infrastructure.
•
Reproduce customer environments and run tests to diagnose technical problems.
•
Work directly with customers during technical discussions and troubleshooting sessions.
•
Manage and resolve technical support tickets.
•
Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
•
Escalate complex issues and product bugs to Engineering and help drive them to resolution.
•
Communicate technical findings, workarounds, and resolutions clearly to customers.
Requirements
•
2+ years of technical support experience, preferably in Tier 2 / Tier 3 support. — Non-negotiable
•
Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments. — Non-negotiable
•
Hands-on experience supporting or troubleshooting Kubernetes in on-premises or customer-managed infrastructure environments. Candidates whose Kubernetes experience is exclusively with managed cloud services (such as EKS, AKS, or GKE) may not be sufficient for this role. — Non-negotiable
•
At least one relevant Kubernetes or cloud certification, such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS, Azure, or equivalent. — Non-negotiable
•
Strong troubleshooting skills across software, infrastructure, networking, hardware, and distributed environments. — Non-negotiable
•
Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity.
•
Strong written and verbal English communication skills. — Non-negotiable
•
Ability to independently investigate complex technical issues and collaborate with engineering teams.
Nice to Have
•
Strong Linux troubleshooting and administration experience.
•
Experience with Kubernetes networking, storage, ingress, DNS, and cluster-level troubleshooting.
•
Experience with containers, monitoring, logging, and observability.
•
Experience with bare-metal servers, VMs, or hybrid infrastructure.
•
Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
•
Experience supporting enterprise software products.
•
Exposure to AI, computer vision, video analytics, or similar technologies.
Location & Schedule
