Team Overview
You’ll lead a team of engineers building and scaling core product capabilities at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and insurance. You’ll balance technical leadership with people management, helping your team move quickly while maintaining a high bar for engineering quality, reliability, and customer impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
•
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, including hiring, performance management, career development, and technical mentorship.
•
Set technical direction and help define the roadmap for your team, translating ambiguous product and customer needs into clear engineering priorities and measurable outcomes.
•
Stay deeply engaged in the technical work by guiding architecture, reviewing critical design decisions, and helping the team build scalable, reliable, secure production systems.
•
Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Customer-facing teams, and engineering leadership to drive complex initiatives from idea through production.
•
Leverage AI-native development tools and workflows to increase engineering velocity while maintaining rigorous standards for correctness, security, reliability, and production readiness.
Who We Hope You Are:
