About the Role
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in an autism classroom serving elementary and middle school students in Boulder, CO. You’ll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students’ academic, behavioral, and developmental needs. You’ll partner with a collaborative school district and receive support from our therapist-owned and operated team.

What You’ll Do
•
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
•
Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ needs
•
Support students with autism through structured routines and individualized strategies
•
Implement positive behavior support strategies and maintain a supportive classroom environment
•
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
•
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
•
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learning needs
What We’re Looking For
•
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
•
Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
•
Experience supporting students with autism preferred
•
School-based experience preferred, but not required
