About the role
We’re spinning up a production run of 100 robotic arms and hiring technicians to build them. This is not a maintenance job or a line job at an established plant. You’ll be assembling the first hundred units of a new product, which means the process is still being figured out as you go.
What you’ll do
•
Assemble robotic arms from drawings and parts kits
•
Install motors, sensors, and wiring
•
Test each arm and fix what doesn’t work (physically)
Ideal Skillsets
•
Hands-on assembly experience: robotics, automation, aerospace, automotive, appliance, medical device, electronics manufacturing, or comparable
•
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics and build from them without hand-holding
•
Comfortable with hand tools, torque wrenches, calipers, and a multimeter
