Introduction to the team

Service Data Platform, part of Expedia Group’s AI and Data Organization, is a

foundational component of our Service Platform. Our Context Engineering team serves real-time traveler, booking, and trip data across all servicing channels – powering identification and verification, differentiated servicing, contextual routing, and agent tools for the AI and human agents who support our travelers and partners.

Join us to build high-scale data services at the heart of Expedia’s AI-powered servicing experience.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance services and

applications, contributing to end-to-end feature delivery across multiple

domains.

• Implement clean, testable code, including system design (low-level design), API

design, and data modeling, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and

maintainable.

• Collaborate with peers, product, and operations teams to translate business and

customer requirements into technical solutions, using data and metrics to guide

decisions.

• Own the full software development lifecycle for your services, including code

reviews, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support in

production environments.

• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve outcomes,

including familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying

AI/ML concepts to real world products.

• Contribute to shared platforms, libraries, and patterns that can be reused across

teams, increasing engineering efficiency and enabling fungibility across multiple

product and service areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field; or Equivalent

related professional experience.
