About the role
Bishop Waste, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a Class A Driver to support local routes in Bishop, CA and Mammoth, CA. The job is based out of Bishop, but this person may be asked to work out of our Mammoth location occasionally. Employees are compensated for travel in those situations.
Drivers interested in stable, year-round employment encouraged to apply.
The shift will be Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Start time is 5:30 AM and runs until the route is complete, typically 8-10 hours per day.
Starting wage range will be $28.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.

The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
