About the role
Under general supervision and following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, the Vascular Surgeon delivers comprehensive medical care to patients within the specialty of vascular surgery.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Planning and executing medical care, documenting medical assessments, identifying and referring situations that require intervention, and performing complex surgical procedures related to the vascular system. The Vascular Surgeon formulates and communicates patient-centered goals and plans of care, ensuring the protection of patient rights at all times. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the ability to provide education to patients and their families regarding vascular health and treatment options. The Vascular Surgeon is responsible for performing all job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
