Description of Work
An individual in this position conducts inspections and prepares timely written reports regarding employee exposures to potentially hazardous work conditions in North Carolina workplaces and recommends the issuance of citations when justified by the occupational safety and health laws of the State of North Carolina.
Travel is required to conduct on-site inspections of safety-related items such as physical hazards and chemical exposures. The types of inspections conducted include complaints, referrals, follow-ups, accidents, fatalities, and general schedule assignments.
All inspections are conducted in accordance with the North Carolina Field Information System (FIS) and the Field Operations Manual (FOM), as established for the administration of the 1973 Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina.

HCO I (Fully qualified) is $60,881.00 - $62,500.00
