Role: Flow of Goods Teammate
To make sure our customers always find what they need by keeping our store’s inventory moving smoothly, accurately, and safely. You are the engine behind the scenes, ensuring products get from the delivery truck to the correct shelves efficiently.
Schedule & Working Environment
•
Dynamic Availability: Retail volumes fluctuate throughout the year. Your shifts will adapt to match inbound delivery volumes and seasonal peak periods.
•
Flexible Hours: You must be open to working non-standard and odd hours (including early mornings or overnights). This ensures our team has the time and space to complete all unloading and shelving safely before customers arrive.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITY 1: Receive & Sort Products (Inbound Flow)
★ Safely unload delivery trucks when they arrive at the store .
★ Truck to peg the received goods efficiently and accurately .
★ Actively shelve products, working diligently to ensure the store is perfectly restocked and ready for the
customer’s arrival
★ Receive and process daily interstore bags arriving from other Decathlon locations, ensuring they are
accurately sorted and shelved.
★ Help the planet by sorting cardboard, hangers and waste following our recycling guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITY 2: Manage Inventory & Stock Accuracy
★ Perform regular stock counts and control procedures to guarantee our ERP inventory matches physical
stock.
★ Actively collaborate with commercial departments to carry out the store's anti-shrinkage action plans,
ensuring goods are securely handled and tracked.
RESPONSIBILITY 3 : Act for a safe and sustainable environment
★ Always adopt the correct lifting postures and gestures to keep yourself and your teammates safe.
★ Ensure the operability of the equipment and keep your work area and the stockroom clean and tidy.
★ Know and respect the internal safety regulations of the store’s receiving area.
★ Adopt a culture of continuous improvement and alerting within my sector.
