What You’ll Do:
•
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
•
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
•
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
•
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, restricted spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
•
Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, access exceptions, and policy violations, while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
•
Customer service experience is preferred.
•
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
•
A guard card or license is preferred.
•
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
•
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
•
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
•
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
•
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
•
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
•
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
