Your role
As Business Continuity Manager, you will lead the continued development and integration of our global business continuity and resilience capability, helping ensure that critical manufacturing and business operations can be sustained or rapidly restored following a disruption.
You will work closely with IT, Operations, Risk, Security, Supply Chain and other business functions to establish practical continuity plans, clear governance and measurable organizational readiness. Acting as a trusted advisor across regions and sites, you will also provide leadership and guidance during business disruptions and crisis situations.
What you will do
As Business Continuity Manager (m/f/d), you will use your expertise in business continuity, operational resilience and risk management to:
•
Lead and continuously develop the global Business Continuity Management (BCM) capability, including governance, policies, standards, roles, accountability, maturity assessments and improvement roadmaps.
•
Drive Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and resilience assessments to identify critical processes, dependencies and recovery priorities, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
•
Oversee the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans, Crisis Management Plans, recovery procedures and playbooks, ensuring that plans are practical, current and aligned with business priorities.
•
Coordinate the annual BCM lifecycle across regions and sites, partnering with Business Continuity Coordinators and functional leaders on plan reviews, business impact assessments, training, exercises and reporting.
•
Lead enterprise-level exercises and simulations to validate organizational readiness, identify gaps and ensure lessons learned are translated into clearly tracked improvements.
•
Provide guidance during business disruptions and crisis events, supporting structured escalation, communication, stakeholder coordination and recovery activities.
•
Develop BCM KPIs, dashboards and executive reporting to provide transparency on resilience risks, plan completeness, exercise maturity, compliance and recovery readiness, while managing related program financials.
•
Drive effective use of BCM tools, data and automation, including SharePoint, planning platforms and workflow tools, while maintaining data quality across BIAs, recovery plans and dependencies.
What makes you a good fit

What success looks like
In this role, success means that critical business and manufacturing services have current and executable continuity plans with clear ownership, dependencies and recovery priorities. Business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management and cyber resilience work together as an integrated capability, while exercises provide measurable evidence of readiness and clearly identified improvement actions.
