Responsibilities
•
Design, build, and maintain Azure/Cloud DevOps CI/CD pipelines supporting application deployments across development, test, and production environments.
•
Implement automated build, test, and release processes using YAML pipelines, Git repositories, and Azure DevOps Services.
•
Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure deployments using ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
•
Collaborate with development teams to integrate secure coding, automated testing, and quality gates into deployment workflows.
•
Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies with a focus on root‑cause analysis and long‑term stability.
•
Ensure compliance with BAE Systems security, configuration management, and change‑control processes.
•
Support containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) where applicable.
•
Monitor pipeline performance, implement improvements, and maintain documentation for operational continuity.
•
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
•
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross‑functional partners.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
•
Experience designing and maintaining Azure, or other Cloud, DevOps pipelines (YAML and classic).

What you can expect from us
•
The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $175,000 - $195,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
