Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
•
Lead daily fulfillment activities within warehousing and lineside materials to meet production schedules in the most efficient and effective manner.
•
Review daily operations by checking on safe working conditions, workmanship, productivity, attendance and compliance to expectations.
•
Report on established goals and metrics.
•
Identify training gaps and provide training to develop a cross trained team.
•
Identify CI opportunities by determining root cause and developing a corrective action plan.
•
Recommend workplace layouts, fulfillment methods, and handling efficiencies by auditing processes to improve material flow, reduce errors and improve overall cost.
•
Troubleshoot issues as they arise to identify gaps in process and possible solutions for correction.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Years of Experience: 4 or more years of related experience required, supervisory experience preferred.
Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.), SAP preferred.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
