About the role
The Patient Care Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Essential Functions

Provide direct patient care assistance, including support with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, safety, and comfort measures.

Assist licensed nursing staff with delegated patient care activities according to established clinical protocols. Observe patient condition and promptly report changes or concerns to licensed nursing staff.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to patient care activities.
•
Support patient safety, infection prevention, and environmental cleanliness standards.
•
Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow escalation procedures.
•
Prioritize assigned tasks and utilize resources effectively in a high-acuity clinical environment.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
•
Certified Nursing Assistant license from FL DOH
Nursing Students
•
Must be actively enrolled in an ASN or BSN program
