About the role
Micron is looking for a passionate and innovative IT Software Engineering Intern to join our Automated Material Handling System’s team. As an IT Software Engineering Intern, you will work on developing and maintaining software solutions that automate Fab equipment operations and integrate them with our internal systems. You will also have the opportunity to learn from expert software engineers and collaborate with other interns and staff members.
Responsibilities:
•
Design, code, test, and debug software applications using various technologies, tools, and Artificial Intelligence
•
Assist with the implementation of new features and enhancements for Fab equipment/tools
•
Provide support, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and bugs
•
Document and update software specifications and user manuals
•
Research and evaluate new technologies and best practices
•
Participate in code reviews and team meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
•
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Must be continuing education in Fall of 2027
