Build a service department you’re proud to put your name on
A well-established, growing residential home services company in the Treasure Valley is looking for a Service Manager who wants to own the results, not just report them.
You’ll lead the residential HVAC service team. That means growing revenue, developing technicians into top performers and future leaders, and building a culture where people want to stay and win together. If you’re the leader technicians follow because they want to, and you love seeing the scoreboard move, keep reading.
This role is for you if you:
Requirements
•
Get energized by a scoreboard and like to compete
•
Can walk into a ride-along and turn an average tech into a top producer
•
Talk conversion rates and average tickets with the same ease you troubleshoot a tough no-heat call
•
Want real authority to make decisions, set the pace, and build your team your way
•
Measure your success by how many people you’ve grown, not just this month’s numbers
What You’ll Own
•
Revenue & growth: Drive department revenue, conversion, average ticket, and opportunity-call performance toward aggressive goals
•
People development: Coach techs on sales conversations, customer experience, and technical skill through weekly 1:1s, ride-alongs, and real-time feedback
•
Culture: Set the standard and keep it high while building a team that’s accountable, connected, and fun to be part of
•
Leadership pipeline: Spot high-potential techs early and mentor them into lead and leadership roles
•
Field support: Jump in on difficult calls when your team needs you
•
Onboarding: Set new technicians up to ramp fast and succeed
•
Collaboration: Partner with dispatch, sales, install, and ops leaders to keep the whole operation running sharp
•
Operational standards: Keep vehicles, process, and service quality at a level customers notice
How You’ll Win
You’ll be measured on what matters to the business and the people in it:
Hiring process
•
Department revenue and technician productivity
•
Conversion rate and average ticket

•
