We are seeking a looking for a Content Ingestion Analyst to join our Content Acquisition & Ingestion team in Chennai to support end-to-end content workflows from publisher deposit to product delivery. The role involves both automated (DAF) and manual acquisition processes, ensuring content is acquired, validated, ingested, and delivered with high quality and timeliness.
About you
•
Must have minimum 4 years of experience in Content Acquisition, Content Ingestion, Data Operations, or related areas.
•
Must be knowledgeable in web, FTP, API, or email-based content acquisition methods.
•
Must have good understanding of AI concepts and willingness to leverage AI-powered tools for workflow efficiency and content operations.
•
Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
It will be good if you have

Exposure to content automation and workflow optimization.
•
Basic understanding of XML, metadata, or content processing workflows.
•
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and data tools is an advantage.
What will you be doing in this role
•
Acquire and ingest content through Web, FTP, API and publisher platforms.
•
Review publisher websites and content sources to ensure complete and accurate content acquisition.
•
Monitor automated acquisition (DAF) processes and resolve content ingestion issues.
•
Validate content against source data and perform quality checks.
•
Support publisher onboarding and content delivery activities.
•
Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to resolve content-related issues.
•
Maintain tracking systems and report acquisition or ingestion exceptions.
•
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
About the team
The DAF (Data Acquisition Framework) team is responsible for automating the acquisition and ingestion of content from external sources, ensuring reliable data collection, monitoring, and onboarding of new content feeds into Clarivate platforms. The DAF team acts as the gateway for bringing external content into Clarivate systems, ensuring content is automatically collected, processed, and made available for downstream products and operations teams.
Hours of work (Full time)
9.00 AM to 6.00 PM IST (including an hour break)
