About the company
Popbee is a Traditional Chinese-language contemporary-culture media brand for women across Asia. Through news, features, visual storytelling, and live events, Popbee covers fashion, beauty and lifestyle, bringing global and Asian trends closer to everyday life with a distinct regional perspective.
Beyond its editorial, Popbee runs Popbee Circle, our member community, along with a calendar of workshops, events and brand collaborations that bring our readers and brands together. We are looking for a Brand Marketing Executive to shape how Popbee shows up across all of it. It is a small team, so you will take projects from idea to delivery, working closely with the Editorial, Video and Sales teams.
Responsibilities:
•
Plan and execute brand campaigns that grow Popbee’s presence and audience across social, newsletter, web and offline touchpoints, working closely with the Editorial and Video teams.
•
Run events end to end, from monthly workshops and member events to co-branded activations, covering concept, venue and vendor sourcing, budget, promotion, on-site delivery, attendee check-in and lead capture.
•
Develop brand collaboration ideas and proposals that showcase Popbee’s editorial, audience and event capabilities, working alongside the Sales team on pitches and delivery.
•
Curate and publish brand and community content with the Editorial team; manage publishing schedules, visual standards and engagement across Instagram, Threads, Rednote and the weekly newsletter.
•
Grow and engage Popbee Circle through acquisition campaigns, giveaways and member perks; secure and manage the brand promo codes and exclusive offers that keep membership valuable.
•
Keep track of trends across women’s lifestyle, beauty, wellness and sports to bring fresh campaign, content and collaboration ideas to the team.
•
Track and report campaign and event performance using GA4, Hex and AI tools; maintain segmented subscriber and event participant lists in the CRM.
•
Share member and audience feedback with the IT team to inform improvements to Popbee.com and the Popbee App.
Requirements:
•
2 to 5 years of experience in brand marketing, event marketing or a related role at a brand, agency or media company, ideally in beauty, fashion or lifestyle.
•
Track record of running events end to end, from concept and budget to vendors and on-site delivery.
•
Fluent in English and Chinese, written and spoken, with a strong sense for editorial and content; Mandarin is a plus. A portfolio or writing samples are welcome.
•
Confident presenting ideas to brands and working across Editorial, Video, Sales and IT teams.
•
Hands-on experience across Instagram, Threads, Rednote and email newsletters.
•
Proficient in Canva or Photoshop, and comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work.
•
Experience with GA4, CRM or email marketing platforms, or with membership and loyalty programmes, is a plus.
•
Organised and proactive, able to run several projects at once with minimal supervision.
•
Able to work evenings and weekends for events when required.
•
Genuine interest in women’s lifestyle, beauty and fashion culture, and in the Popbee community.
