As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to operating in an electronics laboratory. In this role, as an Electrical Engineer, you will be maintaining and sustaining various custom designed test equipment while complying with industry standards*.* We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to ensure equipment readiness for the U.S. Air Force, assisting the customer’s mission to complete Aircraft Monitor and Control (AMAC) testing, a critical need and requirement. Additionally, the customer relies on our capability to analyze the equipment and provide recommendations for improvement.
At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform the Air Force’s testing capability of their AMAC systems*.* Our team maintains the equipment that the Air Force uses to test the AMAC functions on various aircraft while continuously providing recommendations for further development. Additionally, if approved, we work towards modifying, upgrading, or assisting the re-engineering teams with development. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with a sound background in electrical theory, troubleshooting experience, CAD experience, and familiarization with lab processes*.*
On our team, you’ll work as part of a growing and expanding team to maintain and sustain the required test equipment and become a subject matter expert in AMAC systems utilizing schematics, manuals, and signal theory. You’ll directly impact the U.S. Airforce, nuclear mission.We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge while broadening your skillset into areas like 1553 communication, data buses, reengineering, and prototyping.
