Work Location: Must reside within 30 minutes of our Richmond Hub located at 10054 Whitesel Rd., Ashland, VA 23005
Schedule: Part-time, On-call availability required (Average of 8-12 hours per trip, number of trips varies week-to-week)
How You Will Be Rewarded as an On-Call Driver
•
Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $23/hour, plus an additional $2/hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
•
Benefits: Medical (Cigna), Dental, Vision, 401k (5% match), HSA & FSA, employer paid Life & AD&D benefits
•
Sick Time: Employer paid sick time
Key Responsibilities of an On-Call Driver
•
Provide professional ground transportation for surgical teams, specimens, and critical medical equipment
•
Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
•
Adhere to all traffic laws and Strata Critical operational procedures
•
Perform vehicle safety checks and fleet maintenance tasks
•
Maintain constant communication with logistics coordinators and respond to dispatch calls within 10 minutes
•
Handle medical specimens and sensitive cargo with utmost care and precision
Qualifications & Skills of an On-Call Driver
•
High School Diploma/GED required
•
