About the role
Quad is seeking a Digital Press Operator for our rapidly expanding East Coast Supercenter. In this role, you’ll help produce direct mail and other printed products using an HP T250 narrow-web digital press. You’ll set up and operate the press, monitor quality and production, and work with teammates to meet customer requirements safely and efficiently. Quad believes in growing from within. We provide opportunities to build your skills, learn on the job, and grow your career.
Employees can be expected to be paid an hourly range of $23.00-$30.00, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
What you’ll do
•
Read job tickets and prepare the correct products, materials, and substrates.
•
Set up and operate the HP T250 digital press and related equipment.
•
Check color, quality, and product specifications throughout each production run.
•
Adjust the press to maintain quality, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
•
Troubleshoot equipment, make minor adjustments and repairs, and perform preventive maintenance.
•
Identify and address drying and curing issues.
•
Coordinate with Customer Service, managers, leads, and other internal teams.
•
Track consumables, maintain production records, and help develop department procedures.
•
Keep your work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
•
Move materials in and out of the work area using material-handling equipment.
•
Lift up to 35 pounds when needed to load paper into the press.
•
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring

High school diploma or equivalent.

HP T250 operator certification is a plus, but not required. Quad is willing to train candidates with four-color printing experience.
